The Soulard Brews, Blues, and Bites festival welcomes enthusiastic volunteers who have a love for music and a passion for serving our community. Our volunteer shifts are 3-4 hours long, so you’ll have lots of time to enjoy the fest. Of course, no prior experience is necessary — we’ll teach you what you need to know.

Both individuals and groups can volunteer to help with set-up or during the event. All individual volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. Those younger than 18 years of age may volunteer if accompanied by an adult or as part of a group which has an adequate number of adults.

Volunteer needs

Help us prepare the festival grounds for the Festival. Activities may include, but are not limited to: moving tables/chairs, setting up barricades picnic tables and traffic signage, vendor unloading/set-up assistance and placing recycling bins throughout the festival footprint. (Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.)

In this role, you’ll work with the stage manager(s) to welcome artists and performers as they arrive at the stages (2), and assist with any needs they may have.  (Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.)

In this role, you’ll welcome artists and VIP’s as they arrive, show them the green room and VIP areas, and assist with any questions or needs they may have. 

Assisting the concessions team in various duties, making sure that we provide a fun, safe experience!

In this volunteer role, you’ll be assisting with the activities offered in our Children’s area, such as the giant keyboard, musical petting zoo, etc.

This general volunteer role will meet the needs of the festival, and can extend into any area where help is needed. Supervise special parking areas, such as the musician & performers parking area.

This volunteer role will monitor the festival grounds throughout the day, to keep the festival site clear of any debris as they find it.

This volunteer role will help return  the festival grounds to their pre-Festival splendor. Activities may include, but are not limited to: breaking-down Festival booths (such as Info, recycling stations, volunteer, merchandise, etc.), table/chair stacking, traffic flow control, picking up debris on the event grounds, and assisting with supplies load out.

The Soulard Brews, Blues and Bites is an official SHARE event. The non-profit SHARE is a 501(c)(3) that was formed in 2021 when a group of individuals organized and filed papers with the Missouri Department of Revenue.

The SHARE mission is to promote, preserve, perpetuate, and encourage the music, culture, and heritage of Soulard and other communities in the Greater St Louis area through festivals; programs; and other cultural, educational, civic, and economic activities.
