Rich McDonough has toured Europe and the U.S., and played on quite a few recordings – including Johnnie Johnson’s final release. He’s also opened for everyone from Albert King and John Mayall to Junior Wells and Robert Cray.  Big Rich and the Rhythm Renegades always bring a great show!

Hy-C and Fresh Start


This power band encompasses Chicago blues, Rhythm and Soul Blues. Ms. Hy-C & Fresh Start are Foyo Entertainment’s 2016 Best Blues Band winners. St. Louis Blues Society’s Road to Memphis Winner and First Place Band Winner of the 2019 International Blues Challenge.

Boo Boo Davis is a survivor and belongs to the last generations of musicians that write and play the blues based on first hand experience of a hard life in the Mississippi Delta.

He’s toured the world, performing in the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France and the UK.

If you have always dreamed of playing blues harmonica, the B3 beginners harmonica workshop with harp master Eric McSpadden is a great place to start. Bring your harmonica, key of C if you have it, and be ready to have some fun!

‘Fest in the Moment’

At 5:30, when Jeremiah Johnson concludes his show, the ‘Fest in the Moment’ Plein Air art contest takes Center Stage. 
The artists that enter the contest will paint from 12 p.m. to 4 pm, and all art will be set up near the main stage for judging. Viewing and judging will take place starting at 4:00 p.m, and an art auction will take place between 5:30 and 6:15 p.m. The Plein Air art contest winner will be announced after the art auction!

The Soulard Brews, Blues and Bites is an official SHARE event. The non-profit SHARE is a 501(c)(3) that was formed in 2021 when a group of individuals organized and filed papers with the Missouri Department of Revenue.

The SHARE mission is to promote, preserve, perpetuate, and encourage the music, culture, and heritage of Soulard and other communities in the Greater St Louis area through festivals; programs; and other cultural, educational, civic, and economic activities.
